Burnham & Berrow  - “Twenty Seven quality links holes, set among the towering sand dunes on the Bristol Channel coast”

The Championship Course has for over a century been the venue for many prestigious golfing events, from the British Ladies Amateur Championships, the Brabazon, the Tillman Trophy, the British Boys and English Championships…

The Channel Course is one of the hidden jewels of the South West.

 - If there's a better 9-hole links course in England I want to play it.

COMPETITION FORMAT - PLEASE NOTE:

All teams of four will be split into pairs for each round.

In the true spirit of holiday romance and meeting new people I have allocated start times below so that no two pairs play with the same people over the course of the the competition.

There will be prizes for:

  • The top 5 pairs in each round
  • The top 5 teams overall
  • 2 prizes for nearest the pin on each round of the Championship course
  • 1 prize for longest drive on each round of the Championship course
  • All Two’s

All three rounds will be played as Pairs with the best Stableford score per hole to count.

The team score will be the addition of all 6 scores from the pairs playing in all 3 rounds.

You are free to change the pairings for each round. Please let me know 1 hour before each round who is playing with who.

This is a pairs & team event - you must book as a pair or a team of 4. 

All players must be registered members of Teetours golf society by March 1st 2020.

A £50 per pair / £100 per team  deposit is payable at the time of booking.

The remaining £310 per pair / £620 per team is payable on March 1st 2020

Itinerary:

Wednesay 29th April:

  • Light lunch will be served on arrival from 11.30am
  • 12:30 - 14:30 18 holes of golf on the Championship Course
  • Overnight accomodation in the Premier Inn at Weston Super Mare

Thursday 30th April:

  • Full English Breakfast will be served at the golf club from 07:50 - 09:50
  • 08.30 - 10:30 9 holes on the Channel Course
  • Light lunch will be served from 11:30 - 13:30
  • 12:30 - 14:30 18 holes of golf on the Championship Course
  • 19:30 Prize giving and departure.
