WhatsApp group for Teetours:

There is a WhatsApp group for Teetours which members can join.

There are two parts to the WhatsApp group:

1. Announcements - Only I can post messages on this; about fixtures and places available
2. ⛳️Teetours Golfing Society⛳️ - Anyone can post on this; about requests for bookings and information etc.

Inevitably, there are more posts on the ⛳️Teetours Golfing Society⛳️ part

Many members have joined - there are already 170 

But some left,  almost immediately,  because their phone keeps pinging every time there is a message posted.

Here is what to do: (see pictures below)

1. Open the Teetours WhatsApp group chat
2. Scroll down to “Notifications”
3. Click on “Notifications”
4. Click on “Mute Notifications”
5. Click on “Always”

You should now see a bell symbol with a line through it -  

Next to that you will see a circle with a number in it showing the number of messages posted. You can read them if you wish

You can also chose to mute the notifications on the Announcements if you wish
