The biggest annual event in the diary at Lindrick is the Yorkshire Challenge - so all the stops are pulled out to ensure that the course is in the very best condition.  Fortunately for us, that event was held last week.  Although some heavy rain in the previous 48 hours had made the course a little soft, the overall presentation was excellent.  I will try and reserve the event for the same week next year.  Lindrick is just off Junction 30 of the M1, which for some was a bit of a trek - but looking at the smiles of those who had played here for the first time, it seemed to be worth it.  A field of 14 teams competed for the prizes and the scores reflected how tough this course is;  there were no nineties this week!
