Information and Rules:
All competitions organised by teetours.uk are run in accordance with the R&A Rules of Golf and Rules of Amateur Status, together with the local rules of the golf club at which the event is held.
Players must have an active CONGU handicap to win any of the top 5 prizes
All competitions are open to mixed teams: Combinations of gentlemen and ladies are welcome.
Players receive a 90% handicap allowance.
For all male and mixed teams, competitions are played on the mens score card. To allow for the difference in SSS and par, ladies get an extra 3 shots, after the allowance is calculated.
For all female teams, competitions are played on the ladies card.
Men play from the yellow tees.
Ladies play from the red tees.
Measuring devises may be used in competitions provided that they conform to Rule 14-3 Appendix IV - 5 of the Rules of Golf.
If a team loses one player, before the start of a competition, the team will be awarded the Pro-Score of 2 Stableford points per hole.
If a team loses two players, before the
start of a competition, the team will be awarded the Pro-Score of 4
Stableford points per hole.
Teetours season handicap adjustment:
Players in the top team at a competition will have 1 shot deducted from their handicap for the rest of the season.
Players in the team finishing second in a competition will have 1/2 a shot deducted from their handicap for the rest of the season.
At the end of the season, all handicaps will revert to the official CONGU registered amount.
