The Gog Magog Golf Club - Cambridge.

Monday 29th - Tuesday 30th September 2025

Limited to just 22 Pairs £185 / player.

Teetours trip to Cambridge 2025.

2 rounds of golf; overnight hotel accommodation; lunch on arrival; full English breakfast.

  • Last year the comment by many of the players was
  • Why is this event not full??  What a great place!

The Gog Magog Golf Club is on the outskirts of Cambridge.

  • The hotel is the Travelodge on Newmarket Road, Cambridge - 5 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from the golf club.
  • It is within walking distance of many varied local restaurants - Many of us went to a Spanish tapas restaurant together for a really good night.

(Some of the more cultured members of Teetours may wish to stay an extra night,  to immerse themselves in the educational excellence and historical magnificence of the architecture that this fine city has to offer)

The courses:

Built on free draining chalk downland and situated just 3 miles south east of the historic centre of Cambridge, the Gog Magog Golf Club has two stunning and very different courses. THE VIEWS ARE SOMETHING TO BEHOLD.

The Old Course- Yards 6367, Par 70

The Old Course, opened in 1901, has all the character you would expect from a course with so much history. It has great variety, great views and is a great test for all abilities. The Wandlebury Course, opened in 1997, is longer than the Old Course and has USGA specification greens.  From both courses there are panoramic views across Cambridgeshire. Directly north, Ely Cathedral rises out of the surrounding Fens.

Wandlebury Course - Yards 6735, Par 72

The Wandlebury Course, opened in 1997, is well established and has hosted Regional Qualifying events for The Open. Longer than the Old Course and with USGA specification greens, it also has great vistas.
